Brazil

Huge country, beaches, buildings, statues, jungle, waterfalls….

Beware of your surroundings, don’t walk into the favella’s (slums), don’t flash expensive jewelry etc, and only carry money that you need (for your dinner, drinks, souvenirs etc), in case you get held up, just give that away and you can go back to your hotel safely to get more money.
Rio de Janeiro, watch a soccer game in the Maracana stadium, Christ the Redeemer, take cable car to Sugar Loaf mountain,

Sao Paulo, big city, big church nearby

Curitiba, river (André?)

Iguaçu Falls, amazing waterfalls (up to 275, depending on the season), and do a little trip into Argentina to see that side of the waterfalls too (the views are more from the top or the waterfall where you can see the deceptively quiet river suddenly crashing down into the big waterfalls, from the walkways of the Argentinean side, you’ll look into the biggest waterfall, the Garganta del Diablo, the Devil’s Throat).
Itaipu Dam, on this dam you will do a quick dip into Paraguay before the bus has to turn around again back into Brazil. Interesting how this dam creates power for a large part of Paraguay and partially for Brazil.

Eat and drink: rodizio, meat brought to the table, little blocks on the table for you to notify the waiters whether you want some more meat or not. Also a traditional rice and black beans meal should be on the books.
