Working abroad

Depending on the visa regulations in the country you are visiting, you may be able to get a working visa or working holiday visa. Make sure you sort this out, before you budget it in. And even with the opportunity to make money while traveling, there is no guarantee that you can find a job. In some places you may be able to stay for free (or a reduced price) if you work a bit (some cleaning or so), but it is not always legal in the country, so don’t depend on it. What you could also do is WWOOF (an acronym for World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms), working in an agricultural environment for board and lodging.
